About ICECAM

The Mission

As a Dutch person I do a lot with my bike. So let me use cycling as a metaphor to explain the mission and vision of IceCam.

We all know that bicycles have tires. When riding our bikes a lot it can happen that over time our tires get a little bit softer, bit by bit. Because this goes gradually we don't necessarily notice it. However, the biking seems to become harder and harder, to the point at which we just accept that cycling is tough and costs a lot of effort. That is until we decide to pump up our tires! And what do you know? Cycling suddenly became easy again, almost effortless! I think the same goes for life, our bodies and our spirit. Sometimes our energetic tires are slowly deflating and life seems to be getting a little harder, we seem to have less energy and activities seem to cost more effort. So we will need to inflate them every now and then.

IceCam is all about handing you the tools to keep your energetic tires well maintained. Because just like when you wait too long with fixing your bicycle tire, to the point that you have to replace the whole wheel, maintaining your energetic tires, your body, your mind, can prevent you from crashing into a burn-out, depression or other diseases that are well preventable through lifestyle adaptations.

My Story

My name is Cameron, and I like to do things either differently or authentically. My journey into the world of wellness and vitality began with an unexpected adventure in New Zealand. While exploring some of the most breathtaking nature on earth, I discovered alternative ways of living. I encountered communities dedicated to living off their land as much as possible, embracing organic, pesticide-free diets and yogic practices.

When I returned home, the idea of taking care of health through lifestyle changes, such as diet, exercise, yoga, and meditation, really stuck with me. This inspired me to study Physical Activity & Lifestyle, which then shared its propedeutic year with Sport, Health & Management. During my education, the first papers on Wim Hof and the benefits of cold showers started gaining popularity. Intrigued, I began taking cold showers and deepened my yoga practice. I even composed my own minor, which led me to India to pursue both basic and advanced teacher training in yoga. I graduated with a focus on vitality.

Since then, my involvement with healthy living and these lifestyles has never been linear. There have been ups and downs, but I always return to this path with renewed enthusiasm. I constantly seek out new developments and the resurgence of ancient practices in the field of healthy living, especially preventive health care through lifestyle.

Years of practicing cold exposure eventually led me to become a certified Wim Hof Method instructor. Through Icecam, I now offer a variety of programs and workshops designed to empower individuals on their wellness journeys. Whether through online courses, yoga sessions, or immersive workshops in breathwork and meditation, my aim is to provide tools and techniques that foster lasting transformation.
